Where
did the Bible come from? Who wrote it? Where can we find the first complete copy?
The answers to these questions are not at all clear. The Bible, which became
the sacred scripture of the Christian religion, is a collection of ancient writings—in
fact, the part of the Bible which Christians call “the Old Testament”
was sacred to the Jews long before the birth of Christ.
