Fundraising Ideas

Creative and interesting ways to fund raise for our current project are available in the project booklet. Either download here or contact the Bible Society for your copy.

Here's some ideas to get you going.

Why not hold a Boliviano Mercado (market), or a Progressive Bolivian Dinner. 

If you fancy yourself as an entertainer, try your hand at Busking. Did you know there are children as young as 4 or 5 years of age busking on the streets at night in Bolivia, just to raise a little money for food?

Here's some other fantastic ideas for raising money for Bibles!

• Knit for Bibles! If you’re a crafty person, you might like to request a special craft sheet from the Bible Society and knit our easy ‘Anaconda’ for sale to your friends and family. Beanies and ponchos are great sellers too!

• Hold a banquet and serve food from that country. Invite your friends to make a donation at the door.
   
• Get a group of friends together and bake for Bibles! Bake some cakes and sell them at your church, school or group.
   
• Bike for Bibles; ask people to sponsor you to ride your bike to a special location eg Black Stump or another festival. Encourage your friends to ride too so it’s lots of fun! Some states run "Bikes for Bibles" with organised rides. Contact your state for details.
